To notice your emotions is to know your self. Your emotions inform you of what makes you happy, what you desire, and what will satisfy your hearts desire. As you notice your emotions you will also discover many that are stored as repressed emotions, and emotions held in associations to beliefs. You can have fear of public speaking because of a memory of giving a book report in 6th grade that didn’t go well. Our chance at having peace and quiet in our mind will be largely dependent on our ability to be present with our emotions.
