Gary van Warmerdan shares about himself and the development of his Self Mastery course. He wasn’t happy when he began his journey. Gary had to work for it too. Through his own process and those of his clients he developed many exercises to identify and change his core false beliefs. For 20 years he has worked both on his own self awareness, unconditional love, and mindfulness, and helping others to do the same.
The essential message is that you, the essence of you, is fine. You don’t need to change at all to be happy. However, the things about your self that you don’t like, or don’t want, are probably due to the false, and fear based beliefs that you have acquired. They are not you. So the journey and practices focus on stripping away those aspects of the false beliefs, or ego, that aren’t part of your authentic self. It all begins with awareness.
